Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Akwaaba AI("the service"), operated by Pacific Wave Digital, Port Vila, Vanuatu. By using the service you agree to them.

1. The service

Akwaaba AI is an AI assistant that works in Asante Twi: chat, writing, translation, read-aloud, transcription and creative generation (designs and video). Features may change as we improve the product; we currently offer a free tier, and paid plans will be introduced with clear notice.

2. AI-generated content

Responses are generated by artificial intelligence. They can be wrong, incomplete or outdated — including translations. Always verify important information (legal, medical, financial) with a qualified professional before acting on it. You are responsible for how you use the output.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of what you write, upload and generate. You grant us the limited licence needed to process it (send it to AI providers, store your saved items, host generated images and videos so you can share them). Don't upload content you have no right to use.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use the service to break the law, harm others, generate deceptive content impersonating real people, send spam, attempt to breach security, or resell access without a written agreement with us. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.

5. Voices and likeness

Cloned voices in the service are created only from speakers who gave explicit consent. You may not use the service to clone or imitate a person's voice or likeness without their consent.

6. Accounts

You are responsible for activity under your account. Keep your login secure. You can delete your account at any time; we may close inactive free accounts after long inactivity with notice.

7. Availability & liability

The service is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app or by email. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
